The association

The Association Française d'Urologie (AFU) is the learned society of urologists in France, bringing together over 1,300 specialists, or more than 90% of the urologists practicing in the country. Created under the law of 1901, it is recognized as a non-profit organization.

Founded in 1896, its mission is to :

> initial and continuing training for urologists

> promote research into urological pathologies

> transmit information to the general public through educational content.

The AFU is actively involved in raising public awareness by organizing information campaigns and emblematic events, such as the Ventoux hike, to raise awareness of urological diseases and promote prevention.

Urology Innovation Fund

The AFU's Urology Innovation Fund is dedicated to supporting research and medical innovation in the field of urology.

Thanks to donations, it finances innovative research projects aimed at improving the care of patients suffering from cancer and urological pathologies.

TAX DEDUCTION

Individuals: A donation entitles you to a tax deduction of 75%, up to a maximum of €1,000, and 66% above that, up to a maximum of 20% of taxable income.

For companies, 60% of your donation is tax-deductible, up to a ceiling of €20,000 or 5% (5 per thousand) of annual sales excluding tax, whichever is greater.
